OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Absolute Health we recognize that everyone is different and for that reason we use a more personalized approach. Someone may have high cholesterol due to being overwhelmed in their day-to-day life, another caused by a lack of sleep and yet another because of the foods that they are eating. Since there can be many possible causes of the same “disease”, our focus is getting to the root of the problem and not just treating symptoms. HOW WE GOT HERE

Absolute Health was founded in 2006 by our owner and Medical Director, Dr. Yousef Elyaman. Over the years we have seen Absolute Health grow into the practice that it is today. Early on he got frustrated that many patients would just go on medication for abnormal blood work and sometimes feel worse. He began to research other ways of helping his patients and discovered functional medicine, a way of getting the root cause. Word travels fast and soon he realized that he could not do it alone. He began to get help and eventually Absolute Health has grown into the practice it is today. For information on our unique list of services.

Doctor E's Choice Store

Early on Dr. E realized that he would need to recommend certain supplements to some of his patients. He started by just recommended that they go and find them elsewhere. He realized that patients were not getting the results that the studies had shown in his research. He investigated this further and found out that the FDA does not regulate supplements the way that it regulates medication. It leaves a lot up to the manufacturer to be responsible. For that reason, you never really knew what you are getting. Thus, Doctor E’s Choice Store was born. All supplements are pharmaceutical grade and 3rd party tested. That means that not us nor the manufacturer, but a third party tests the products to make sure they are of the best quality. Never did we imagine that it would turn into a popular online store with purchases from across the country.

Staying Up to Date:

As Absolute Health began to grow it became harder and harder to keep everyone on the same page. It is for this reason that our staff get extensive continual training. This training includes provider training that is a minimum of 2 hours a week. This way we can keep up to date on protocols and stay up to date on the latest research in health.
