Neurobiofeedback

Neurofeedback literally means “brain” and “input,” where the brain is monitored and input is given instantly. Neurofeedback specifically monitors brainwaves, looks for irregularities, then produces a signal that is designed to correct the irregularity and guide the brainwave back into a healthy pattern. With repetition for this process over time, the brain will learn to stay in healthy ranges without the aid of the computer. The result is an improvement in brain regulation, which is turn can reduce or eliminate most neurological symptoms. Neurofeedback can help with:

• Fatigue • Memory Loss • Chronic Pain • Depression • Anxiety - Benefits are cumulative and some conditions take significant time before improvements become evident. It may take up to 20 sessions before a patient recognizes a change and some patients see a change after the first couple sessions. Each person is different. Based on Dr. Elyaman’s experience, and his assessment of you and your condition, he will seek to use the optimum frequency of Neurofeedback to provide you with benefits and results, as efficiently and effectively as possible. Each treatment will consist of 30 minutes of Neurofeedback, with eyes open watching TV or eyes closed listening to music. Quality diet and nutrition is supportive for your body and is encouraged. Exercising daily within your limitations is encouraged and recommended.
