ABBEY ZILLWEGER, PA-C

Meet Abbey Zillweger, a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant at Absolute Health. Abbey obtained her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Master of Science in Medicine from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to attending PA school, Abbey worked as a medical scribe for two years in the emergency department and family practice, gaining valuable healthcare experience. She is currently working towards certification in functional medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine.

During her PA program, Abbey completed rotations in various medical fields, including family medicine, emergency medicine, general surgery, pediatrics, internal medicine, urgent care, behavioral health, and women’s health. Her diverse experience has equipped her with a broad range of skills and knowledge, enabling her to provide comprehensive and individualized care to her patients.

Abbey believes in taking the time to understand each patient’s unique medical history and providing an individualized approach to their treatment plan. She is committed to identifying the root cause of symptoms and disease processes to bring healing to each patient. As an advocate for functional medicine, Abbey is passionate about its individualized approach to healthcare.

Abbey’s love for science and the human body, combined with her passion for helping people, drew her to become a healthcare provider. She enjoys encouraging patients to reach their full potential and achieve healing. In her free time, Abbey enjoys hiking, running, yoga, camping, reading, cooking, and traveling. Abbey’s passion for functional medicine and commitment to individualized patient care make her a valuable member of the Absolute Health team.
