Matilda Said, PA-C is known for a thoughtful, thorough approach that patients notice immediately. Those who work with her often describe feeling carefully listened to and never rushed. She has a natural persistence that shows in the way she asks questions, revisits details, and stays engaged until a concern is clearly understood. Patients appreciate that she does not gloss over uncertainty and that she takes the time to ensure their story is fully heard before moving forward.
Before becoming a Physician Assistant, Matilda spent six years working as a clinical medical assistant, gaining hands-on experience that shaped her clinical instincts and work ethic. That foundation taught her the value of precision, follow-through, and clarity in care. She earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, and brings a collaborative mindset to every visit. Her philosophy centers on partnering with patients, helping them understand their health, and making thoughtful decisions together. They are currently working toward certification in Functional Medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine.
Born in Lafayette, Louisiana and raised in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Matilda comes from a close-knit family that values honesty, resilience, and support. She relocated to the Ocala area to continue growing both professionally and personally. Outside the clinic, she enjoys staying active through hiking, kayaking local springs, fishing, and exploring new adventures. At Absolute Health, Matilda is a meaningful presence, offering steady, attentive care grounded in respect, consistency, and genuine commitment to her patients.
