Effective date: September 19, 2026
Absolute Health respects your privacy. This policy explains what information may be collected through absolutehealthocala.com, why it is used, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
This policy covers our public website and the online forms controlled by Absolute Health. It does not replace our Notice of Privacy Practices, which explains how medical information may be used and disclosed as part of patient care. It also does not control outside websites, such as the patient portal, bill-pay service, supplement store, or social media platforms.
Important healthcare and emergency notice
If you have a medical emergency, call 911. Do not use a website form, email, newsletter form, accommodation request, or social media message for an emergency or an urgent medical need.
Please do not enter diagnoses, symptoms, test results, medications, insurance identification numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive medical details in a general contact form, newsletter form, booking note, or ordinary email. Use the patient portal, a designated patient-intake process, or call our office at (352) 854-5530.
Information sent through a designated patient-intake form, patient portal, or another care-related process may be protected health information and may also be covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices. If this Website Privacy Policy and the Notice of Privacy Practices address the same medical information differently, the Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable law control.
Information we collect
Information you provide
Depending on the feature you use, you may provide:
- Contact information: your name, email address, telephone number, subject, and message.
- Newsletter information: your email address and subscription choices.
- Booking or accommodation information: requested dates, number of guests, contact details, reservation details, and information needed to respond. Please do not include medical details in an open booking-notes field.
- Payment or donation information: payment amount, billing details, transaction status, and related records. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider rather than our general contact forms.
- Patient-intake information: a designated intake form may request contact and identification information, date of birth, demographic information, emergency contacts, insurance information, medical history, medications, diagnoses, allergies, family and social history, symptoms, signatures, and uploaded documents.
- Other information you choose to provide: information included in a form, file, email, telephone call, or other communication with us.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the website, our website systems and service providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested URL, referring page, date and time of access, security events, error records, and website performance information. We may also record your cookie choices and accessibility preferences.
On approved general-information pages, Google Analytics may collect limited website-use information only after you agree to analytics cookies. Analytics is disabled on designated patient, intake, account, booking, payment, and other sensitive pages. Form-field contents are not intended to be sent to Google Analytics.
Information received from service providers
We may receive limited information from a service that supports a transaction or request. For example, a payment provider may send a payment confirmation, a booking tool may send a reservation request, and an email service may report whether a subscription was completed or a message was delivered.
How we use information

- Review patient-intake information and support care-related administration.
- Manage bookings, accommodations, event registrations, payments, and donations.

Website services and providers
The website uses software and service providers for specific purposes. The information involved depends on the feature you choose and how that feature is configured.
| Service | Purpose and information involved |
|---|---|
| WordPress, Elementor, and website hosting | Provide and display the website. Hosting systems may process request, device, security, and error information needed to deliver the site. |
| Contact Form 7 and Fluent Forms | Process patient-intake, general contact, newsletter, and other submitted forms. Submissions may be stored or delivered to designated Absolute Health personnel according to the approved form setup. |
| Google Analytics 4 and Google Site Kit | Measure use of approved general-information pages after analytics consent and show reports to authorized website staff. These tools must not receive patient-intake fields, general-form text, or protected health information. |
| Mailchimp | Manage requested email subscriptions and newsletters. Mailchimp may process an email address, subscription status, delivery information, and email engagement information. |
| Stripe | Process supported online payments and help prevent payment fraud. Stripe may process payment-card, billing, device, transaction, and fraud-prevention information under its own privacy terms. |
| MotoPress booking tools | Support accommodation availability, booking requests, confirmations, and related communications. Information may include contact details, requested dates, guest details, booking status, and payment status. |
| Simple Calendar and Google embedded services | Display calendars, events, maps, or related content. Google may receive technical connection information when embedded content is allowed or opened. |
| 10Web performance services | Support page delivery, caching, optimization, and technical performance. These systems may process IP addresses, requested URLs, device details, and diagnostic information. |
| Accessibility tools | Provide display and navigation options and remember accessibility choices in the visitor’s browser. |
| Patient portal, bill pay, and linked stores | These are separately operated services. Information submitted after leaving our website is governed by the privacy notice presented by that service. |
Google Analytics
Absolute Health uses Google Analytics 4 on approved general-information pages. It is installed directly with Google’s gtag.js, not through Google Tag Manager. Google Site Kit remains connected for authorized reporting, while the website’s cookie-control system decides whether the Analytics tag may load. The GA4 measurement identifier is G-NW6QGVBEPY.
The Analytics tag remains off until you choose Accept analytics. Choosing Necessary only means the tag will not load or send information. Analytics remains disabled on designated sensitive pages even if you accept analytics cookies.
Advertising personalization, Google Signals, automatic form-event tracking, automatic user-provided-data collection, and unnecessary advertising connections are disabled. Analytics is not intended to receive names, email addresses, form responses, appointment details, patient information, or protected health information.
GA4 user-level and event-level data retention is set to two months. Google’s retention setting does not necessarily remove information from standard aggregated reports. Google processes Analytics information under its own terms and privacy policy and does not offer a Business Associate Agreement for Google Analytics.
You can change your choice through the Cookie settings link in the website footer. You may also review Google’s Privacy Policy or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
How we share information
- With service providers that perform website, form, email, payment, booking, hosting, security, or technical services for us.
- With healthcare, payment, or administrative recipients when you request a service or direct us to share information.
- With professional advisers such as attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, and security specialists when reasonably necessary.
- When required by law, court order, subpoena, regulatory request, or another valid legal process.
- When reasonably necessary to protect rights, prevent fraud, investigate misuse, or address a threat to safety or security.
- In connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of the practice, subject to applicable legal protections.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use protected health information for targeted advertising, and this website is not intended to use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep information
We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the reason it was collected, to provide a requested service, maintain appropriate business or clinical records, resolve disputes, protect the website, and meet legal or regulatory duties. Different records may therefore be kept for different lengths of time.
GA4 user-level and event-level data retention is set to two months. Cookie-consent records are kept as reasonably necessary to remember and demonstrate your choice. Patient and care-related records may be subject to separate medical-record requirements and the Notice of Privacy Practices.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and services involved. No website, email, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please use the patient portal or another method approved by the office when sending sensitive medical information.
Your choices and privacy rights
- Reject or manage non-essential cookies through the website’s Cookie settings link.
- Withdraw analytics consent at any time for future website activity.
- Unsubscribe through the link in a marketing email or contact us for help.
- Ask us to correct or update information you previously submitted.
- Request access to or deletion of website-related personal information when applicable law provides that right.
- Ask about restricting or objecting to certain uses, withdrawing consent, portability, or appealing a privacy-request decision where applicable law provides those rights.
- Exercise an applicable privacy right without unlawful discrimination.
These rights are not absolute. We may need to verify your identity, confirm an authorized agent’s authority, or keep information when required for medical, legal, security, payment, or recordkeeping purposes.
Requests involving protected health information are handled under the Notice of Privacy Practices. That notice explains additional patient rights that may apply to access, amendments, confidential communications, restrictions, accountings, and complaints.
Children and minors
Absolute Health provides healthcare services to patients of different ages. A parent, guardian, or other authorized person should submit information for a minor only when permitted to do so. Minors should not independently submit payment, booking, or medical information through the public website unless permitted by applicable law and directed by the practice.

The website links to services that we do not operate, including patient-portal, bill-pay, shopping, map, calendar, and social media services. Those services may collect information and use cookies under their own notices. Please review the applicable privacy notice before providing information to an external service.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when website tools, privacy practices, or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through another appropriate notice.
