Cookie Policy

Effective date: September 19, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Absolute Health uses cookies and similar browser technologies on absolutehealthocala.com. Please read it together with our Website Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text records placed in your browser. They may keep a website working, remember a choice, protect a transaction, or help measure website use. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and tags. A cookie set by Absolute Health is a first-party cookie. A cookie set through another service is a third-party cookie.

Your choices

When you first visit the website, the cookie banner provides these choices:

  • Accept analytics: allows necessary cookies and optional analytics on approved general-information pages.
  • Necessary only: keeps optional analytics, marketing, and non-essential embedded-content technologies off.
  • Choose preferences: lets you review the available categories and save your choice.

Necessary cookies do not require an opt-in because the website or a feature you request cannot work properly without them. Google Analytics remains off until you give analytics consent. On designated patient, intake, account, booking, payment, and other sensitive pages, Analytics remains off regardless of your choice.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link shown on the website. A new choice applies to future activity. You may need to delete existing cookies through your browser if you want to remove records already stored on your device. Using another browser or device, or clearing browser storage, may cause the banner to ask for your choice again.

Cookie categories

Strictly necessary

These technologies support basic website delivery, security, forms, requested bookings, checkout activity, and storage of your cookie choice. Blocking them in your browser may prevent a requested feature from working.

Preferences and accessibility

These technologies remember choices such as accessibility display or navigation settings. They do not measure your use of the website for Analytics.

Analytics

These optional cookies help us understand use of approved general-information pages. They are set only after analytics consent and are not intentionally used on designated sensitive pages. Rejecting them does not prevent you from using the website.

Embedded content and outside services

Maps, calendars, payment windows, hosted forms, videos, or other externally supplied content may use their own cookies or local storage. Optional embedded content should remain blocked until you allow the applicable category or choose to open that content.

Marketing communications

If you subscribe to email updates, Mailchimp may use pixels or similar technologies to report delivery, opens, or link activity. You can unsubscribe through any marketing email. Website marketing technologies remain subject to your cookie choice where consent is required.

Cookie names can change when a provider updates its service or website settings change. The live preference panel should provide the most current category information. Absolute Health will review this list when website tools or providers change.

Google Analytics controls

Google Analytics 4 uses _ga and _ga_NW6QGVBEPY on approved pages after consent. Choosing Necessary only prevents the Analytics tag from loading or sending information. The tag is blocked separately on designated sensitive pages, so accepting analytics does not turn it on there.

GA4 user-level and event-level data retention is set to two months. This is an Analytics account setting and is separate from how long a browser may keep a cookie.

Browser controls

Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies. Blocking every cookie may prevent forms, bookings, payments, accessibility preferences, or authenticated features from working correctly. Browser controls apply only to that browser and device.

External websites

If you leave this website for the patient portal, bill-pay service, supplement store, social media page, or another external service, that service controls its own cookies. Use the privacy and cookie controls offered by the external service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when website tools, providers, or privacy requirements change. The revised version will be posted with a new effective date.
