Jorge Echeverry is a dedicated Physician Assistant with a passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Known for his meticulous approach and strong listening skills, Jorge builds lasting relationships with patients, ensuring they are fully informed and involved in their health decisions. Raised in various cities across Florida and born in Cali, Colombia, his diverse upbringing has fostered an appreciation for different perspectives and a deep commitment to growth.
With an M.S. in Physician Assistant Studies, Jorge blends traditional medicine with functional medicine to address the root causes of health concerns. By focusing on the whole patient, Jorge works to identify the underlying factors contributing to health challenges, promoting long-term wellness and lifestyle changes. He is currently working toward certification in Functional Medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine to expand his ability to serve his patients in a holistic manner. Outside of his professional life, Jorge enjoys spending quality time with his girlfriend and is eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child. He is deeply proud of his hardworking girlfriend, whose positive outlook on life motivates him every day. Jorge is also incredibly grateful for his mother, who has helped him navigate life with love and guidance. He finds joy in small moments with family, friends, and his two pet hamsters, Tabitha and Fabiola. Jorge enjoys reading academic articles and occasionally going to the gym, maintaining a balance between work, fitness, and personal well-being.
